Posted by JayKae on Monday, November 17 @ 14:38:07 EST

Astrasim Expo Ltd is a brand new publishing and events company dedicated to aviation and in particular flight simulation. The aim is to take our flight simulation events around the UK. Already in 2009 two shows are in the planning stages. The first to be held on August 1st at Sherburn Aero Club in West Yorkshire, with a further event to be held in September 19th/20th at the Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford in Shropshire. Sherburn will host a full flight sim and computer show. Where as Cosford will be the premier event of the year. Around 40 plus exhibitors are expected, attending a two day show. For more info please visit the Astrasim homepage or click on the [Read the rest..] link below.

Flight simulation has come of age, and the real world of aviation is opening its eyes to the new technology now available, which can not only educate and entertain, but give real life experiences in a virtual environment. Managing Director John Marshall said Astrasim Expo Shows are organised by - an exciting publishing and events company with the creativity, imagination and flair to take flight simulation exhibitions to a new level. Cosford will be a major event in the UK calendar, a full two day event at this world class venue with everything from demonstrations to seminars and not forgetting the amazing museum itself with much of our national aviation heritage on display. Sherburn will be following on from its success in 2008 with a bigger event next year, this time incorporating a computer fair to run alongside the flight sim show. Both events will be great days out for all the family, with entertainment throughout the day and night! Sherburn Aero Club spokesman said we are all looking forward to the show in 2009, with the flight simulation user group now an integral part of our club it certainly enhances aviation, along with bringing many more interested people to the airfield to see what we're all about. Astrasim Expo has a dedicated website where all the build up to both events can be found. The Latest news, show magazine, ticketing and travel arrangements. Sherburn and Cosford previews including our video galleries. Right now you can get exclusive wallpaper and posters of both shows at the official website.
